Emphasis on sculptural form is a direction I found myself moving closer to over the years.

I love combining materials in a single piece -- metal, acrylic, paper, wood, stone, fabric, and threads.  With the use of various color and texture techniques, the materials take on new and unexpected characteristics.  These "Environmental Boxes" allow me to create pieces that hint of surrealism and to continue to explore the qualities and limitations of materials, especially metal.
